“My mission for Rustic Slate is to make a difference for a better tomorrow and run a green business.  That’s why as a candlemaker, I use clean and sustainable ingredients, such as renewable, USA-grown soy wax and cotton wicks. My handmade candles come in glass mason jars which are reusable for a variety of purposes, or which can be recycled.  For every candle I sell, a tree is planted in an area local to my customer, through my business partnership with One Tree Planted.  All online orders from my website are fulfilled using carbon neutral shipping methods.  Follow our green mission with #candles4trees”
